I have to wonder if maybe the movie industry is suffering from a labor shortage. They might only have had their crews for a few months before losing them to another project. Kind of a bummer. The principal cast is also made up of some really big stars who do multiple projects a year so they might’ve had other commitments that prevented them from filming two movies at the same time. I do wish most people would to the Peter Jackson way. It worked well for him with The Lord of the Rings and might be one of the reasons that trilogy has performed so well and still holds up. Anywho, loved the movie and can’t wait for next weeks episode! Even though I will not be watching the movie Hahaa

I am sure that labor issues certainly aren’t helping, especially considering there have been strike rumors out there as well. I also found out after a bit of research that Legendary Pictures who owns the rights to Dune is the reason that the green light hasn’t come yet. Warner Bros wanted to announce part two and start production before this movie was even released but Legendary hasn’t allowed it. I’m sure based on $$$$$.

Well that is disappointing. Thanks for the info on that! Hard to believe that for once Warner Bros. aren’t the ones causing the issues hahaa
